Plano Estratégico

 De forma a desenvolver um conjunto de recomendações estratégicas ajustadas à realidade concreta das empresas, importa distinguir diferentes tipos de empresas a atuar no Setor:

  • Empresas de engenharia, conceção e comercialização (tipicamente de pequena ou média dimensão);
  • Empresas de maquinação (tipicamente de pequena dimensão);
  • Empresas integradas, com engenharia, conceção e produção (tipicamente de média ou grande dimensão).

 

Tendo por base as tipologias de empresa acima definidas e de forma a desenvolver estratégias de sucesso no mercado, definiu-se um conjunto de recomendações sobre o posicionamento a assumir pelas empresas que desse resposta às suas necessidades. Estas recomendações assentam em 4 áreas fundamentais:

  • Base tecnológica;
  • Competências internas;
  • Relacionamento com os clientes;
  • Posicionamento competitivo.

 

Foi definido um mapa estratégico para as empresas desta Comunidade, salientando as áreas chave para as empresas de engenharia, conceção e comercialização e para as empresas de maquinação.

Neste mapa reforça-se a necessidade de estabelecer um diálogo permanente entre as diferentes áreas de competência e de base tecnológica.

Desta forma, depois de uma reflexão alargada, podemos afirmar que as opções estratégicas identificadas com vista ao reforço do posicionamento competitivo das empresas são as seguintes:

  • Elevada especialização; 
  • Aposta em mercados nicho ou produtos em fases iniciais do ciclo de vida (menor competição); 
  • Enfoque em produtos de elevada complexidade;
  • Aposta em áreas com elevadas barreiras à entrada pela dimensão (micro ou macro) ou pela complexidade da maquinação.
