Dentro de 10 anos o setor de Engineering & Tooling, será reconhecido mundialmente como um dos mais avançados do ponto de vista tecnológico e da oferta de valor acrescentado na conceção e produção de moldes, ferramentas especiais e peças maquinadas de alta precisão.  

 

Missão

 

  • Desenvolver e produzir moldes por forma a otimizar as funcionalidades dos produtos e respetivos processos de fabrico dos seus clientes, assegurando a qualidade total e a minimização do custo total ao longo de todo o ciclo de vida de produto.
  • Integrar o molde numa cadeia alargada de serviços de engenharia de alto conteúdo tecnológico, ou seja, inovar ao nível do produto final em cuja produção o molde intervém.
  • Desenvolver e produzir ferramentas especiais e peças maquinadas de alta precisão com elevado valor acrescentado para o cliente, assentes numa forte aposta na inovação de produto e de processo de fabrico.

 

Objetivos

  • Colocar o setor no top 5 a nível mundial, de acordo com os indicadores da ISTMA, nas áreas da produtividade, inovação e qualificação dos seus recursos humanos.
  • Garantir um crescimento de pelo menos 2% ao ano da produção (em Euros) no sub-setor de moldes.
  • Garantir um crescimento anual acelerado (dois dígitos) da produção (em Euros) no sub-setor das ferramentas especiais e peças maquinadas de alta precisão.
  • Garantir elevados níveis de rentabilidade das empresas, com resultados líquidos médios acima da média da ISTMA-Europe.
  • Atingir um número de 30 novas empresas de base tecnológica a atuar no Setor.
  • Atingir elevados níveis de reconhecimento da marca Engineering & Tooling Portugal a nível nacional e internacional.
  • Garantir uma redução consistente da dependência do setor automóvel para valores próximos dos 50%.
  • Garantir um aumento significativo do peso de outros setores estratégicos como a energia e ambiente, eletrónica, medicina e aeronáutica.
